At Kids Connection we offer a caring, homely yet professional environment combined with a learning programme that is designed to develop and extend children’s skills and knowledge. We are committed to maintaining a stimulating programme and to creating an open, friendly atmosphere that supports both Children and their Families. We respect individual needs and differences and aim to promote high self-esteem and healthy relationships between Children, Families and Staff.

We work hard to encompass all areas of development in accordance with Te Whariki which enables children to develop physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally to reach their potential. We know that Teachers are the most important factor in a successful childcare environment; therefore we employ staff that are of a high standard. We provide an environment where teachers work alongside the children supporting, challenging and extending them.

We also believe in the FISH philosophy which encompasses 4 key principles. Choose your attitude, be there, play and make their day. We are currently developing this within the centre for both staff and children. We would like our Kids Connection family to be there for each other, make each other day and encourage each other to choose their attitude and have lots of fun through play.

We value a multicultural environment and we welcome and encourage Family and Whanau to become involved in their child’s development by visiting and providing feedback when they wish. We believe in running a Centre that is inclusive for all, irrespective of ethnicity, gender, age, ability and background.
